EDIA (Expertise for International Development in Agrifood) is a non-profit association composed of 9 students currently in 3th year of an engineer program in agro-development International (ISTOM).

We seek to use our expertise for studies and advices related to the agri-food sector, nutrition and local development. We offer our international expertise to assist you in the best way possible in your future projects, corresponding to your unique requirements.

We provide this service as part of a program destined to offer development actors a study/survey of professional quality by young experts, known as MJE (Mission Jeunes Experts), this program is an integral part of our 4th year engineer school curriculum.

The Mission Jeunes Experts
The Mission Jeunes Experts (MJE) is a professional expert service made by a group of nine future engineers in the service of dedicated actors in the field of development.
The expertise that we propose can be in this way very diversified and adapted for your needs: a market study, a project evaluation or post-project, a preliminary study for product or process development , a diagnostic, a feasibility study, business plans.

Our intevention is in three steps:

A methodological and logistical preparation phase for the future mission

A field phase of 1 to 2 months with mobilization the whole group

A report phase with deliverables

​We are accompanied at each step by a professor researcher at ISTOM during the preparation phase and, if necessary, on site.

TINGA association, created by ISTOM students in 2010, has been the predecessor of several new young experts teams each year, like us, that bring together young students who offer solutions to different companies. This year it’s our turn to propose you our services.

OUR SCHOOL
ISTOM, engineering school in international agro-development
ISTOM is a school which has trained agricultural engineers who are acting in international agro-development for more than 100 years.
Our 5 years multidisciplinary training combines theoretical courses in basics sciences, life sciences and social sciences (economy, sociology,...) with group projects. Mixed with a practical training over 16 months of internship, our formation provides us with concrete tools, diagnostic methodology and keys to understand the complexity of rural areas and how to take effective actions.
